2007 CMA Music Festival

Well, it's almost June again and every die-hard country fan knows what that means, CMA Music Festival of course! This year's festival is already lining up to be one not-to-be-missed, as well as one of the hardest to get tickets for. CMA is already offering "nose-bleed" seating for the upper-upper level of LP Field for only $100 for a four-day pass to the action, proving that the good seats have been sold out. In fact, the floor seating is completely sold out, with club and lower levels filling up quickly. If you plan to go to the festival but have not yet purchased your tickets, you may want to do so ASAP by logging onto http://www.cmafest.com/ or http://www.ticketmaster.com/.

Enough about seating, on to the good stuff, the performers. This year promises to be another great year, with artists on board already including Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley, and The Wreckers, and that's only the first night! Friday night brings Carrie Underwood, Sara Evans, Josh Turner, Jason Aldean, Little Big Town, and Sugarland. Saturday night is only occupied by LeAnn Rimes, Martina McBride, Jo Dee Messina, and the promise of more to be announced soon, I've even read something about a BIG surprise that night! Sunday night definitely has the most artists I've seen on one night in a long time with Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich, Kellie Pickler, Taylor Swift, Rodney Atkins, Miranda Lambert, Billy Currington, and Brad Paisley will close the festival this year.

If you get the chance to make it out to FAN FAIR this year, GO! You will not regret it. I have been two years and enjoyed it both times. However, I won't be making the festival this year, therefore:

WANTED
I need a country fan who will be attending the festival this year to help me do some reporting. Basically I will need for you to write a small review for me for each night of the festival, as well as answering a few general questions each night about the events to give readers an idea of what "goes down" during CMA Music Festival week. If interested in reviewing the festival for fans each night, please email me at LRFan222@aol.com.

If you are going to Fan Fair this year, I would like to wish you a great time. It will be an experience you will not soon forget.

Keepin' it Country,
Zach
